A REGULAR SCHEDULED BOARD MEETING OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF BEXAR COUNTY (HABC), TEXAS WILL BE HELD AT HABC OFFICE LOCATED AT 1017 N. MAIN, SUITE 201, SAN ANTONIO, TX 78212 ON JUNE 17, 2010 AT 5:30 P.M.

The following item(s) will be discussed, and if appropriate, action will be taken.

I.                     Call meeting to order.

II.                   Roll call.

III.                 Citizens to be Heard.

IV.                 Approval of the following minutes:

a.        Regular Scheduled Board Meeting: May 20, 2010.

V.                   Executive Director’s Report.

VI.                 Discussion and appropriate action as it pertains to HABC Check Claims List.

VII.               Discussion and appropriate action as it pertains to HABC Payroll Schedule.

VIII.             Discussion and appropriate action as it pertains to HABC Budgets.

IX.                 Discussion and appropriate action as it pertains to HABC Personnel:   Executive Manager Matilde Torres.

X.                   Discussion and appropriate action as it pertains to HABC Personnel:   Executive Director Michele Valadez.

XI.                 Discussion and appropriate action as it pertains to Resolution for Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts Cooperative Purchasing Program.

XII.               Discussion and possible action on HABC’s contractual relationship with Ortiz Pest Control.

XIII.             Discussion and possible action on preliminary draft audit prepared by Garza/Gonzalez.

XIV.             Discussion and possible action to set HABC summer Board retreat.

XV.               Discussion and appropriate action as it pertains to Housing Authority of Bexar County v. Bill C. Rocha, CPA, Cause No. 2008-CI-13065 in the 408th District Court, Bexar County, Texas.

XVI.             Closed Meeting.

The Board of Commissioners may convene in a closed meeting in conformance with Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code §§551.071, 551.072 and 551.074:  

a.        Consultation with Attorney regarding possible action as it pertains to HABC Budgets.

b.        Consultation with Attorney regarding discussion of Personnel:   Executive Manager Matilde Torres.

c.        Consultation with Attorney regarding discussion of Personnel:   Executive Director Michele Valadez.

d.        Consultation with Attorney regarding possible action as it pertains to Housing Authority of Bexar County v. Bill C. Rocha, CPA, Cause No. 2008-CI-13065 in the 408th District Court, Bexar County, Texas.

XVII.           Adjournment.

THE BOARD RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CONVENE IN CLOSED MEETING TO DELIBERATE ANY MATTER PERMITTED UNDER CHAPTER 551 OF THE TEXAS GOVERNMENT CODE IN CONNECTION WITH ANY OPEN MEETING ITEM LISTED ABOVE.
