A REGULAR SCHEDULED BOARD MEETING OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF BEXAR COUNTY, TEXAS, WILL BE HELD AT 1017 N. MAIN, SUITE 201, AT THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF BEXAR COUNTY CONFERENCE ROOM, ON THURSDAY, JULY 24, 2008 AT 5:30 P.M.

The following item(s) will be discussed, and if appropriate, action will be taken.

I.               Call meeting to order.

II.             Roll call.

III.           Citizens to be Heard.

IV.           Discussion and possible action regarding HABC’s policy on the use of all forms of employee leave pursuant to HABC Policy 4.5 and 4.8 including, but not limited to, annual, sick, and vacation leave.

V.             Discussion and possible action regarding the 2007 Audit performed by Bill C. Rocha, CPA.

VI.           Discussion and possible action regarding HABC’s policy authorizing the endorsement of HABC’s commercial paper including, but not limited to, checks, drafts, money orders and other financial instruments made in the name of HABC.

VII.         Discussion and possible action regarding Executive Director Laura Morales.

VIII.       Closed Meeting.

The Board of Commissioners may convene in a closed meeting in conformance with Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code   §§551.071, 551.072 and 551.074: 

a.     Consultation with Attorney regarding HABC’s policy on the use of all forms of employee leave pursuant to HABC Policy 4.5 and 4.8 including, but not limited to, annual, sick, and vacation leave.

b.    Consultation with Attorney regarding the 2007 Audit performed by Bill C. Rocha, CPA.

c.     Consultation with Attorney HABC’s policy authorizing the endorsement of HABC’s commercial paper   including, but not limited to, checks, drafts, money orders and other financial instruments made in the name of HABC.

d.    Discussion of Personnel:  Executive Director Laura Morales.

IX.          Adjournment.

THE BOARD RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CONVENE IN CLOSED MEETING TO DELIBERATE ANY MATTER PERMITTED UNDER CHAPTER 551 OF THE TEXAS GOVERNMENT CODE IN CONNECTION WITH ANY OPEN MEETING ITEM LISTED ABOVE.
